Description
Four days completely dedicated to the twenty-fourth edition of one of the most important granfondo in Tuscany: the GF Diavolo in Versilia. For the first two days, we train together like a real pro team, riding part of the competition trail and planning our strategy for the race. The third day, we’ll compete against the 1,500 participants on a race course that will take us through some of the most famous and evocative places along the Versilia Riviera and the Lucca inland. From Viareggio, we’ll go to the hills around Lucca passing through Montemagno. There, we’ll take on some of the most challenging hills like Piccolo Mortirolo and will ride through age-old olive groves until we get to Orbicciano and Mount Pitoro. We’ll take on the Colli di Pedona and Montebello and then the difficult descent that leads to Pietrasanta from Monteggiori. From there, we’ll do the last difficult incline up to Capezzano Monte and on to Capriglia to admire breathtaking views of Versilia, the Tuscan archipelago islands and the Gulf of La Spezia before arriving at Lido di Camaiore.
