Cycling in Umbria, which is one of the most loved Italian regions, will definitely be a one of a kind experience. Umbria, in central Italy, is well-known all over the world for its lush rolling hills, medieval towns such as Perugia, Orvieto, Gubbio and Assisi and its untouched landscape punctuated by Etruscan hill villages and lakes. On this great cycling tour, we will pedal along awesome roads through olive groves visiting some UNESCO Heritage sites and we will recharge in stunning settings and meet our friends who own some of the most characteristic farms and well-known wineries in the region. We will be treated to fabulous dishes such as homemade Trevi black celery & sausage pasta, black truffles and Pecorino & Caciotta cheese and grilled red wine marinated sausages with vegetables. Then, relaxing with a glass of wine in hand, we will taste some splendid local wines like a Sagrantino or Rosso di Montefalco.
