Bike Tour Itinerary

Our staff will meet you at Venezia Airport and will accompany you to the Tyrol hotel in Selva di Val Gardena. In the afternoon we‘ll be ready for our bike tune-up and a first warm up ride, also known as “sgambatella” in Italian slang, to prepare our legs for the days to come. From Selva, we will cycle along quiet roads admiring the majestic Dolomites and starting tasting what this amazing area has to offer. Once back at the hotel, after a refreshing aperitivo to toast to the amazing week ahead, we’ll be ready for our first Italian dinner.

Meals: Dinner

Cycling: distance 35 km, elevation 750 meters

Pick-up location: Venezia Airport

Today we will be cycling the Sellaronda loop counterclockwise. After a gentle 5 km ascent from Selva di Val Gardena we will reach the Sellaronda ring at Plan de Gralba. Here we will start climbing until the amazing Passo Sella. After a brief stop at the top for a few pictures, we will head down towards the start of the Passo Pordoi, the highest peak of the day, reaching 2,240 meters above sea level. Once at the top, we will stop to admire the monument dedicated to Fausto Coppi before cycling down to Arabba. The third climb of the day is the Passo Campolongo, the shortest climb of the Sellaronda ring. Once in Corvara we will start approaching the longest ascent, reaching the beautiful Passo Gardena before cycling down the winding road towards Selva di Val Gardena.

Meals: Breakfast, Dinner

Cycling: distance 60 km, elevation 2000 meters

Today we will cycle another great loop of the Dolomites. Starting from Selva we will easily reach the Gardena Pass and set off for Campolongo, the best pass if you like to ride winding roads. It will be a long, smooth and panoramic descent that will bring us towards the start of Passo Falzarego. You will enjoy gentle gradients along the whole ascent, just a couple of straights tend to get steeper. Once you’re through the tunnel, there are just a few hundred meters before you reach the top of Passo Falzarego. You’ll notice that there is one last 1.2km ramp to climb that will bring you to Passo Valparola: this is the most precious jewel of today’s ride. Once you’ll get there, you will discover why! Then there is an amazing and fast descent down to Corvara, where we will meet the last climb to Gardena Pass and then back to the hotel. What a day!

Meals: Breakfast, Dinner

Cycling: distance 80 km, elevation 2000 meters

We have planned a short ride for today as it is important to rest the legs to enjoy the Dolomites. During today’s ride we will enjoy cycling along the picturesque roads around Selva.

Meals: Breakfast, Dinner

Cycling: distance 30 km, elevation 500 meters

The Sellaronda clockwise is one of the most famous and panoramic cycling rings in the world. Along this spectacular loop while climbing Gardena, Campolongo, Pordoi and Sella you will have the chance to see the dolomites from amazing panoramic viewpoints. It is a unique 50 km ride with 1.600 ascent that never gets hard. Ideal to foster our eyes and spin our legs before the glorious cycling day of tomorrow.

Meals: Breakfast, Dinner

Cycling: distance 50 km, elevation 1600 meters

Today, we’ll head towards the Sella pass, on the contrary of the previous day, very different and very beautiful. We will descend towards the picturesque village of Canazei from which we’ll climb the Fedaia pass, at the feet of the Marmolada glacier. Reaching the top is an unforgettable experience: once you pass the 2000 altitude, you will find the wide and spectacular Fedaia Lake, which mirrors the glacier and the blue sky in a picture you won’t find anywhere else. Nice descent towards Caprile, then Campolongo and Gardena are done in reverse before getting back to the hotel.
